Denver Comic Con comes to Denver in four days

In just four short days downtown Denver will be in a geek frenzy as the third annual Denver Comic Con hits the Colorado Convention Center June 13-15, 2014. William Shatner returns to the convention playing host to an incredible reunion panel with Star Trek: Next Generation cast members Jonathan Frakes, LeVar Burton, Denise Crosby, Michael Dorn, Gates McFadden and Marina Sirtis. Well known and loved for their hilarious convention appearances, Next Gen cast members will be offering Rocky Mountain area Sci-Fi fans a tremendous treat. Along with the Next Gen crew is a stellar guest line-up including just announced guests Battlestar Galatica's Admiral Adama himself, brilliant actor Edward James Olmos, and Caity Lotz from plays Black Canary on CW's hit show Arrow. Other highly anticipated guests include Evil Dead icon Bruce Campbell, Buffy the Vampire Slayer’s Nicholas Brendon, The Walking Dead’s Chandler Riggs and Michael Rooker, Walter Koenig, Jim Cummings, Neal Adams, Shane Bitney Crone, Kathryn Immonen, Robert Axelrod, Walter Jones, David Yost, and the big names continue on.

Denver Comic Con has skyrocketed to become one of the largest comic conventions in the country. Big names in the biz as well as fans will all come together to raise funds for the non-profit organization Comic Book Classroom. This charity is a Non-profit organization created for low income schools and communities to help children with reading and writing difficulties. It's a six week program geared towards needy kids by utilizing comic books and graphic novels as a teaching tool.
