Denver Cinco De Mayo Festival 2010

It's the beginning of the month of May, which means that the weather is warmer, trees and flowers are in bloom, and Cinco De Mayo is here once again. Every year Denver celebrates the holiday of Mexican independence with many different events, with the official Denver Cinco De Mayo Festival, which serves as one of the highlights of the various festivities. This year's 23rd annual festival is expected to draw more than 400,000 people, and will take place at Civic Center Park on Saturday May 8th, and Sunday May 9th from 10 am to 8 pm. The event will feature three large stages of entertainment, as well as over 300 different exhibitions and vendors that the whole family can enjoy! Of the different attractions, there will be a children's carnival,  which will feature live animals, rides and fun activities for thre kids, as well as plenty of live music, a wide array of cuisine, a Green Chili Cook Off (which will feature 15 different local restaurants competing against one another), and lots of free samples and giveaways.
