Denver Broncos versus San Diego Chargers Thursday Night Football forecast

Having emerged from a blast of wintry conditions, the Mile High City has returned to much milder weather today. Mother Nature will play along nicely for tonight’s Denver Broncos game against the San Diego Chargers with a crisp, late fall night.

Just four days ago the Broncos played the Tennessee Titans as the Mile High City was wrapping up an Arctic cold spell. Temperatures Sunday afternoon at kickoff were a bone-chilling 13 degrees.

The weather however did not cool down the Broncos' high-powered offense and Peyton Manning helped quiet naysayers who said he couldn’t play in cold weather. Perhaps warmer temperatures will heat things up even more tonight.

Thursday Night Football brings the Broncos back to the gridiron against their division rival San Diego Chargers. While it will certainly be chilly as one would expect this time of year, temperatures will be far more comfortable for the players and fans.

Temperatures have over-performed forecasts today thanks to downslope conditions. The sunsets at 4:36 p.m. and with the sinking sun, temperatures will be dropping as well.

For the 6:25 p.m. kickoff the mercury will be reading around 34 degrees. Skies will be mostly clear with a light, 5 mph wind out of the northwest.

Those same mostly clear skies and light winds will remain in place throughout the contest. Temperatures will be dropping as the evening continues with a reading of around 29 degrees at halftime and 25 degrees when the game ends.

Clearly not mild temperatures for the game however they will be more than acceptable and weather should not be a factor in the game.
