The Denver Broncos flawless start to the NFL season took a big hit on Wednesday September 18. NFL.com reports that offensive tackle Ryan Clady is out for the remainder of the season with a Lisfranc Sprain.
Clady’s injury happened in the first half against the New York Giants. According to sources close to Ryan Clady, he feared that he would be done for the season a couple days ago.
Ryan Clady was Peyton Manning’s blindside protector, but now the Broncos must go in a different direction for the rest of the season. They already lost center Dan Koppen in the preseason with an ACL injury.
So far, no matter what setbacks the Broncos have faced, Denver has kept moving forward. They’ve fought through injuries and suspensions this year. However, there comes a point when it gets too tough to overcome too many injuries.
The Denver Broncos face Oakland Raiders on Sunday.
