The Denver Broncos' Peyton Manning joins an achievement attained only by Brett Favre and Dan Marino. Tweeted ESPN Stats & Info on September 15, 2013, "Peyton Manning has joined Brett Favre and Dan Marino as the only players in NFL history with 60,000 yards passing."
On Sept. 15, the Denver Broncos' Peyton Manning helped his team beat his brother Eli's team, the New York Giants, to a 41-23 victory. As reported by 9News.com, "Peyton finished 30-of-43, passing for 307 yards and two touchdowns with no interceptions.
Even though Eli Manning and Peyton Manning are brothers, apparently playing against each other is not fun. "It's a strange feeling," said Denver Broncos' Peyton Manning. "It's not as enjoyable. ... Both of us are glad it's over with."
The 37-year-old quarterback is also a beloved figure in popular culture appearing outside of sports on TV shows and commercials. His 2007 "Saturday Night Live" appearance, for example, earned the show one of its highest household ratings.
