Perfect for taking in a skyline view of Downtown Denver, Vita (1575 Boulder Street) has one of the best rooftops in the metro area. The rope lighting and candlelit tables makes it a perfect place for a date night or just for catching up with friends over their delicious cocktails. Nestled in the Lower Highlands, it is most popular during beautiful afternoons and for happy hour. Get there early because the rooftop terrace fills up fast.
Vita has a very innovative cocktail menu to please their wide array of clientele. The crowd ranges from the Highland hipster 20-somethings to the late 50’s wine connoisseurs. Cucumber Lavender, Blueberry Daiquiri, and Dirty Jalapeno martinis are a few of the favorites.
Tuesdays are a great day to check out Vita for the first time if you are a wine lover. Choose from their 85 selections of wine for their ½ off bottles happy. Happy hour runs Sunday-Saturday from 3-6:30PM with everyday specials including 2 for 1 glasses of wine, $2.50 Bud beers, $3 Mirror Pond Pale Ale, $4 well drinks. In addition to the drinks, their happy hour food menu is equally impressive on both the palate and wallet. Their featured sliders are $3 each. Make sure to try the pulled pork ones, as they are extra tender. Other happy hour food items include $5 selections of small plates ranging from calamari to bruschetta and $2 an item antipasto.
