Denver Arts Week is upon us and it offers amazing experiences for all. Beginning November 6th and going until November 14th there is plenty of time to take in shows, dinners and art exhibits throughout the city.
One event that I urge the community to attend is November 12th where at El Museo De Las Americas is featuring a local artist "slide jam" curated by Denver artist Jerry Vigil. The artists that will be featured include Al Cardenas, Rafael Fajardo, Emanuel Martinez, Jerry De La Cruz and Jose Esquibel. The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. There is a $5 admission and $3 for students.
To only add to the festivities of this amazing week on November 14th at 7:30 p.m. at Mizel Arts & Cultural Center, Anat Cohen will be putting on a jazz quartet concert, featuring music ranging from modern and traditional jazz, Brazilian choro, Argentine tango, Afro-Cuban styles and classical music.
Admission is $15 for general admission and $12 for seniors.
Denver Arts Week has a lot to offer to the Denver community; food, music, art and culture. Events are usually affordable and always enjoyable for the whole family.
