Denver area gets Game of Thrones viewing parties at The Armoury

Attention Denver area Game of Thrones fans. Co-Founder of Comic Book Classroom and Denver Comic Con, Charlie La Greca, and Nerd Riot Productions have big geek news! They are throwing Game of Thrones weekly viewing parties at The Armoury in Downtown Denver. Presented by Breckenridge Brewery and The Armoury, Game of Thrones geeks will get the chance to soak up the glorious tension of each episode along with some delicious drinks and food. Who could resist GoT themed drinks and a free blood shot whenever a main character dies? The pre-show will begin at 6pm with fun activities such as DJ performers, cartoonist battles, guest appearances, drink specials and more. Viewing parties begin this Sun Apr 6 and will continue weekly through the season finale on June 15, 2014. New episodes will be screened at 7pm on 3 large flat-screen TV’s and 1 giant, HD projector, with the sound cranked up and conversation kept to a minimum.

Be sure to get there early to enjoy the pre-show hosted by the hilarious nerd-centric band, 'H2Awesome.'Trivia, prizes, and giveaways along with dragon raising tips, Nerf Archery, guest artists, and a special GoT draw off battles with the cartoonists of Denver Drink and Draw.
