Denton County Master Gardeners Association plans Fall Garden InfoFest

Denton County Master Gardeners Association will present the 2009 Fall Garden
InfoFest with free seminars, demonstrations and exhibits with a focus on water
conservation and vegetable gardening.

The 2009 Fall Garden InfoFest in Lewisville offers free seminars, children's activities and garden tours at Upper Trinity Regional Water District.

InfoFest, presented by the Denton County Master Gardeners Association, takes place Saturday, Oct. 3, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feature topics at the event will be water conservation and vegetable gardening.

Exhibits will include tips on winter vegetable gardening. Representatives from area community gardens of Denton and Lewisville will be present to discuss community vegetable gardens.

DCMGA is a volunteer program of Texas AgriLife Extension. Its mission is to educate Denton County residents about safe, effective, and sustainable horticultural practices that promote the development of healthy gardens, landscapes and communities.
