Denny’s to offer ASU students Hobbit-size meal deal

Students at Arizona State University may find themselves having a Hobbit-size appetite this week as they study for their all-important final exams so Denny’s is partnering with 20th Century Fox’s “The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug” to help fuel their brains.

ASU students who visit the Denny's at 650 N. Scottsdale Road in Tempe (located on Scottsdale Road just south of Loop 202) on Wednesday, Dec. 4 will receive a free coffee or beverage with the purchase of any Hobbit meal and a valid student ID, offer is valid only for Wednesday, December 4th.

In “The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug,” which opens Friday, Dec. 13, Martin Freeman reprises his role as Bilbo Baggins, a hobbit who, along with several dwarves and wizard Gandalf the Grey (Ian McKellen), continues his quest to reclaim his homeland Erebor from the dragon Smaug (Benedict Cumberbatch).
