Dennis Garland Jr. & TFC released their debut CD, “Believe” last week. The group is riding the wave of the popularity of their single, “Wonderful You Are.” With a packed house at New Creation in Christ Ministries Church in Suitland, MD., the group gave listeners a peek at what they could expect with the album’s release on Saturday, Feb. 23. ECMA Founder and Spiritco1 owner Henry Harris was the night’s emcee.
Instead of just giving a concert, Garland took time to share with the audience how the songs came about. This added touch gave the concert an intimate as attendees were wisked away on the group’s musical journey. Garland also told how a conversation with him wife and the Peter Gabriel song, “Book of Love.”
The singer was also ubiquitous, sharing stories, singing and taking a turn at the keyboard. The group’s songs included “Believe,” “Lamb of God,” “The Great I Am” and “Show Me the Way.” Social media is still abuzz about the concert and “Believe.” Garland posted some of the comments:

There were also performances by his music peers who got the evening started. Darnell Moore and Company performed their Billboard-charting, electrifying hit “It Belongs to You.” Gavin Davis wowed the crowd with “No One.” J Kee and Shift, Nu Mobb, Project Praise also gave outstanding performances.
There’s no doubt, “Believe” will make it in to many playlists over time. It was evident from the size of the crowd that this group has a lot of supporters who have been blessed by their ministry in song Spotted in the audience was DeCarlo Coley, member of the Stellar-nominated quartet Soul Messengerz.
