The authorities did not give any detailed information regarding the issue, but based on Jiggy Manicad's special report on QRT, one of the news programs of NewsTV11, the TV and print ad model will be temporarily detained in CIDG Women's Desk in Camp Crame. Due to popularity of the case, PNP Chief Alan Purisima, immediately informed everyone especially the public and the persons involved in the incident that there will be no special treatment to Deniece Cornejo contrary to some observers claim that she will be treated like a queen.

Reports also added that she is set to be presented to Taguig Regional Trial Court Branch 271 at the sala of Judge Paz Esperanza Cortez, who issued arrest warrants against her, Cedric Lee, Zimmer Raz, Jed Fernandez and Ferdinand Guerrero for the serious illegal detention case in connection to the mauling of Vhong Navarro at the Forbeswood Heights Condominium three months ago. Last month, Zimmer Raz and Cedric Lee were arrested in the Town of Oras, Eastern Samar by the National Bureau of Investigation.
