Democrats shrink to new level of disgrace on vote integrity issues

Many of us among the voting citizens of the country would prefer to see true statesmen as political leaders who truly want to improve conditions in our society and restore American Exceptionalism. These kinds of politicians, who would truly do their best to represent us, would be true giants in politics.

The current cast of political leaders sent to Washington as Democrats couldn't be any further from the standard mentioned above. This is entirely not a partisan statement. It is an entirely fair, accurate, and true statement. The Democrat politicians, serving in Washington now, as a group, are the most partisan, political, depraved, corrupt, venal, and disgraceful lot of politicians we have ever seen. Former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich, who is now in federal prison in Colorado, is an amateur at corruption compared to these people.

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, a self-serving wealthy limousine liberal from San Francisco who was the worst speaker in the history of the country, made a statement today that entirely illustrated how low the bar is for Democrats.

Pelosi, speaking of the contempt vote in Congress yesterday in Congressman Issa's oversight committee on Attorney General Eric Holder, said, “It is no coincidence that the attorney general of the United States is the person responsible for making sure that voter suppression does not happen in our country, that issues that relate to the civil liberties of the American people are upheld. These very same people holding him in contempt are part of a nationwide scheme to suppress the vote.”

That statement is one of the most dishonest and sleazy I've heard said by a national political leader. There is no significant or credible evidence of any voter suppression being conducted by anyone connected with or supporting Republican candidates. This lie of voter suppression is a cynical ruse thrown up by liberal Democrats every time there is an effort to insure the integrity and security of the voting system by stopping ineligible voters, vote-scamming, vote-fraud, and other means of stuffing the ballot boxes.

It is no coincidence that nearly all recently reported vote-fraud cases over the last few election cycles have been done by Democrats. Democrats cheat because they don't believe they can win most elections honestly. That is why they oppose efforts to stamp out vote fraud and push the dishonest ruse about voter suppression.

But there was an instance of voter suppression from the 2008 election. Members of the New Black Panther Party stood outside one voting location in Philadelphia intimidating voters. King Shabir Shabazz, of the New Black Panther Party, stood outside the voting location with a club taunting Caucasian voters, calling them “crackers” and telling them they were about to be ruled by a black man as president. This was blatant, racist-motivated voter suppression done by this radical group in support of Barack Obama.

During the end of the administration of George W. Bush, this despicable crime was quite properly prosecuted and justice on this issue was near. This wasn't partisan, it was an example of public officials doing their job and prosecuting a clearly blatant violation of voter rights. That changed as soon as the president who campaigned on hope and change took office and appointed Eric Holder as attorney general.

Immediately after taking office, Eric Holder withdrew the charges against the New Black Panther Party and let them get away with blatant and illegal voter suppression. This is wrong, corrupt, and for a politician who serves a president who continues to raise the racist and bogus ruse of Republican voter suppression of minority voters, entirely an act of blatant and colossal hypocrisy of the highest order. Our politics can not get any more rancid than this. But it gets worse.

It is the policy of the Justice Department under Eric Holder that only acts of Caucasians engaging in voters suppression of minority voters are prosecuted while acts like those done by the New Black Panther Party are condoned and exonerated. That is blatantly and clearly a racist double-standard.

Bartle Bull, a civil right lawyer and campaign manager in 1968 for Robert Kennedy, witnessed, and submitted to the Justice Department a statement about, the New Black Panther Party voter suppression incident in Philadelphia. Whistle-blower J. Christian Adams has also testified before Congress about the refusal of this administration prosecute cases like this.

Additionally, Eric Holder is abusing the Voting Rights Act and other civil rights laws to brand as racist, and thwart legitimate efforts to stop vote fraud and remove ineligible voters from the rolls of voters. Holder and this administration do this for one simple reason, they do not want to stop vote fraud that will inevitably put more Democrat votes in the ballot box. Sensing they just might lose in November, the Obama administration knows they need every vote they can get, no matter how corruptly or dishonestly they get it. That is why they have Eric Holder suing states for requiring a photo ID at the polls because they might just have to cheat to have any remote change of winning in November. It's an absolute disgrace how Democrats refuse to work with Republicans to insure the fairness and integrity of the voting system on election day.

Yesterdays news showed us another absolutely despicable, scandalous and outrageous display of partisan, corrupt and rancid behavior by liberal Democrats. The House Committee chaired by Congressman Darrell Issa (R-CA), that investigating the Operation Fast and Furious scandal, voted in an entirely party-line vote, 23 to 17, to recommend the full House hold Eric Holder in contempt for not delivering request documents regarding the gun-walking scandal. Fox News showed them live, voting, and one by one as each Democrat member was called by name in the roll-call vote, they voted “nay.” Every single Democrats on that committee, voted in lock-step like partisan mind-numbed robots, against the motion and opposed to conducting oversight on Fast and Furious. It is the job of the Congress and that committee to perform this oversight. Liberal Democrats showed their true colors, and desire to cover-up this scandal, by all 17 of them voting against the contempt motion.

Of course the press reported the vote was party line and the Democrats quickly branded it partisan. It wasn't partisan because all the Republicans voted for the contempt motion. The Republicans were the ones on the committee actually doing the job they were elected to do and upholding the Constitution and their oath of office. The vote was partisan because the 17 Democrats on the committee clearly refused to do the job they were elected to do. If the Democrats had instead done their jobs and voted in favor of the motion, it would have passed the committee by a 40-0 vote instead. How partisan would that have been?

Michael Meyers, executive director of the New York Civil Rights Coalition, who describes himself as a liberal, found this display yesterday a disgrace. Appearing on the Hannity program Fox News last night, Meyers said, “the government should be ashamed of itself (regarding Operation Fast and Furious) including the Democrats on the Congressional panel today...I was ashamed as a liberal Democrat, I was ashamed of Congresswoman Maloney and Delegate Eleanor Holmes Norton because they refused to even inquire, instead what they said is we can't disrespect Attorney General Holder, although Attorney General Holder can disrespect Congress.”

Meyers further called Holder “incompetent” and President Obama “Nixonian” for their stone-walling and cover-up of Fast and Furious.

This record on voter suppression and voter integrity issues on the part of this administration and its defenders among the Democrats Senators and members of Congress is absolutely despicable and corruption. This should be a major scandal and is reason alone for this corruption administration and their defenders in Congress to be voted out of office in November.

Never have the Democrats sunk this far and lower the bar this low. No one with any degree of intellectual integrity can dispute what I've discussed here nor can they defend this administration and its allies on these issues. This whole group of liberal Democrats in this administration and in Congress that is standing by Eric Holder and his racist record on voter integrity issues is entirely corrupt. The president who campaigned on hope and change in 2008 has become the most partisan, corrupt, and racially divisive president in history.
