Democrats deceive the country about the national debt

Democrats deceive the country about the national debt. During the 2008 presidential campaign, candidate Barack Obama criticized President Bush for increasing by $4 trillion and totaling $10 trillion during Bush’s eight years in office. Obama called it irresponsible. Now Obama has increased the national debt to $16 trillion and says the Federal Government doesn’t have a spending problem.

Obama voted against raising the debt ceiling when he was in the Senate. He said raising the debt ceiling would weaken us domestically and internationally. Obama solidifies our belief at the Oakland Examiner that if Democrats weren’t hypocrites, they couldn’t be Democrats.

Earlier this week on Fox News, California Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi echoed Obama’s sentiments that the government doesn’t have a spending problem. She also ingeniously proclaimed the quickest way to create jobs was increasing funding for food stamps. There are now 18 million more people on food stamps and eight million fewer jobs when Obama took office in 2009. Proving Pelosi is completely devoid of economics and private enterprise.

This explains why Pelosi is in politics hampering us freedom loving capitalists and not working for her husband who has amassed a multi-million dollar fortune.

President Obama signed legislation, which increased taxes for those earning over $200,000 earlier this year. The Democrats want additional tax increases and refuse to address the dangerously increasing debt. Obama and the Democrats know the media is on their side and the media will skew the reporting and blame the Republicans; totally ignoring the fact that the economy could slip into another recession.

Obama and the Democrats are only interested in escaping blame not regenerating the economy.
