Democrats continue to protect frivolous lawsuits as voters demand reform

A new Rasmussen poll shows that 57% of voters want limits on the amount of money a jury can award a plaintiff in a medical malpractice lawsuit. This once again puts the American people directly at odds with Obama, Pelosi and most Democrats (who are the extremists here?). 

Frivolous lawsuits are the number one cause of skyrocketing costs, which the left's illegal trillion-dollar health care takeover completely fails to address...while comically pretending to revolve entirely around cost reduction. In fact, Democrats have repeatedly blocked every attempt to do anything about frivolous lawsuits, for years.

The reason is simple. Trial lawyers make up a huge portion of their donor base.

Again, contrary to all their phony populist rhetoric, when the chips are down, liberals stand for nothing more than Democrat power.
