The election race for Fairfax County Sheriff has been hotly contested and it seems that some Democratic supporters are so fixated on winning that they've forgotten their supposed democratic ideals of a fair and free election.
Since entering the race, Republican candidate Frank Wolfe has bitterly complained of multiple instances of vandalism against his home, his car, his campaign signs and those of his supporters.
In the most recent development, Erik Kleiner, brother of the Democrat candidate Stacey Kincaid, was arrested after allegedly admitting to theft of campaign signs supporting his sister's opponent.
One would expect better of supporters for a sheriff candidate but apparently Kincaid's supporters are either desperate or lacking in a moral compass.
If this sort of thing is what we get from the Stacey Kincaid supporters before the election, what does that say about how they will run the criminal justice system if elected.
It sounds like they have ceded the moral high ground to Frank Wolfe.
