EA has today released the demo for Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14, for both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
For all you golf fanatics, one of the key features of this year’s game is the mode known as Legends of the Majors, which includes the 1961 Open Championship at Royal Birkdale challenge. This challenge puts players in the shoes of Arnold Palmer in the 1960s era, which includes era-specific attires, skills etc. For those that manage to pass the challenger, Arnold Palmer will then be unlocked for use in the full version of the game.
Also for the first time in the franchise, the game will feature LPGA integration and gamers can get a preview of the LPGA via the all-new Quick Tournaments feature. Players can use Lexi Thompson on a new course – Oak Hill Country Club..and by “use” we mean in golf people.
In addition, players can take part in an “Twenty-foursome” (seriously, don’t let your minds wander) through our all-new Connected Tournaments mode, where people can complete online against others, with the game allowing you to see up to 23 other shots being taken at the same time. You can actually go to the game’s website now to create your own country club tourneys.
For those wondering, yes, the game, which releases on March 26, will support motion controls as well.
