Demi Moore has finally made up her mind on filing divorce papers against estranged husband Ashton Kutcher, reports claimed on Wednesday, March 6.
It's been almost a year and a half since Demi separated from her husband, and almost three months after Ashton filed his own papers for a divorce, Us Weekly reported. So, now, at long last, it looks as if Demi is ready to file her papers to the court, and let go of the "No Strings Attached" star.
Rumors ran rampant that Demi just did not want to let go of Ashton, as she wasn't over him yet. However, other reports claimed that the "LOL" actress was not ready to file because she was trying to settle an agreement with Ashton that was never successfully negotiated.
Apparently, "Ashton made a lot of money after marrying Demi -- a lot more than she made -- but despite him becoming just as famous through her, he believes he doesn't owe her that much," a source told Us. So, Demi wanted to get in on some of Ashton's earnings through her lawyers.
But, the settlement did not happen, and Demi will now go on with the divorce. If lawyers for both parties can't come to a mutual agreement between them, Demi and Ashton's divorce case could go to trial.
