It is no secret that things are ugly in the Demi Moore/ Ashton Kutcher divorce. It is also no secret that Ashton wants a baby. On March 13 Perez Hilton says that a source close to Demi is now stating that Demi doesn't think she would be getting a divorce if she could have had a baby for Ashton.
Demi's source claims;
“Demi tried for YEARS to get pregnant with Ashton. She was in her early 40s when they first got together, and she put her body through hell trying to have his baby. Ashton wanted a child from day one, and Demi knew he would make an amazing father after seeing how great he was with her girls. Sadly though, time wasn't on Demi’s side, and she was never able to fulfill his baby wish. Demi believes in her heart that if they had had a child together, there wouldn't be a divorce going on right now. She thinks if there had been a baby at home Ashton wouldn't have been out partying with friends, and he wouldn't have had the chance to cheat on her.”
While it is true that Ashton would have likely been home more often if he had the baby he so desperately wants, it doesn't mean that a baby would have fixed their relationship as it rarely does. Demi was in a downward spiral, according to the numerous drunken photos posted all over the Internet, during her marriage to Kutcher. Their age difference also likely put a huge strain on relationship as she was old enough to be his mother.
Ashton has since moved on with Mila Kunis who is currently looking for a home and planning marriage and children together.
