Demi Moore: Should Ashton Kutcher have told Demi Moore about his baby in person?

Demi Moore was reportedly very upset when her ex-husband Ashton Kutcher “didn’t have the decency” to call his former wife and tell her that he was expecting a baby with his fiancée, Mila Kunis. Instead of a joyous personal call, Demi Moore found out about Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis’ pregnancy through the media, reported Hollywood News Daily on March 26. Should he have told his ex-wife about the happy news personally?

Moore, who was once married to Bruce Willis, began dating Kutcher in 2003, married him on Sept. 24, 2005, and by Nov. 17, 2011, Moore publicly announced that she would be ending her marriage to Kutcher. After a long period of separation, the divorce was finalized “due to irreconcilable differences” on Nov. 27, 2013.

Kutcher moved on, as any healthy man should, started dating Mila Kunis (his former “That '70s Show” co-star), and announced his engagement last month after having dated Kunis for about two years. While it is unclear how far along 30-year-old Kunis is in the pregnancy, the fact that she started to show brought the news into the media – and to Demi Moore.

Demi Moore shouldn’t have expected to hear about the baby news from her ex-husband in person, many fans argue -- maybe except for the fact that it would have been a thoughtful and compassionate gesture by 36-year-old Ashton Kutcher to let her know since “it was widely reported that Moore, 51, was frustrated that she and Kutcher couldn’t conceive a child.”
