Demi Moore believes that the demise of her marriage was not meant to be and that if she was able to give Ashton Kutcher a baby, they'd still be together today. A source close to Demi said the “Ghost” actress believes that Ashton would have stayed home more if he had a child of his own and he probably wouldn't have cheated on her, according to Radaronline on Wednesday March 13, 2013.
From the very beginning of their relationship Demi wanted nothing more than to make Ashton a biological father and “she put her body through hell trying to have his baby,” according to the source. She was already in her 40s when Ashton came into her life.
If Demi really believes this, she is seems to think very little of herself. Having a baby to cement a marriage does not make a happy marriage and chances are it wouldn't have staved off a divorce. Demi is basically saying that Ashton didn't love her enough to stay in a marriage, but he would have loved his offspring enough to stick around.
This is a very sad situation for Demi if she believes she doesn't deserve Ashton's love unless she can give him a baby. Chances are even if she did have a baby while the two were married, the marriage would have fallen apart between the couple.
It seems as if Demi is getting something out of this marriage even though it is over. The once love birds never signed a pre-nup and today Demi is making this work to her advantage as she's going after spousal support and she wants Ashton to pay for the legal fees for the divorce. She takes credit for helping with Kutcher's career, as seen in the video above.
