Howard Stern's Hollywood pal Demi Moore was hospitalized this week after reportedly overdosing on nitrous oxide "whip-its" and entering a seizure-like state.
A friend of Moore's called paramedics late Monday night after the 'Striptease' actress reportedly became "semi-conscious" and displayed "symptoms of a seizure" after inhaling an unspecified amount of nitrous. She was rushed to a nearby hospital.
Howard Stern became buddy-buddy with Moore and her now-soon-to-be-ex-husband Ashton Kutcher after meeting the couple at Jimmy Kimmel's celebrity soiree in the King of All Media's honor. Moore and Kutcher later visited Stern's Hamptons estate for advanced hobknobbing.
When news of the couple's break up hit the web in September 2011, Stern wondered aloud why it is that every couple he gets close to splits within a matter of months.

The term "whip-its" derives from teenagers who inhale the compressed nitrous oxide from whipped cream cans to get high.
