I suppose that it is  breaking news that  DemiMoore has been hospitalized for exhaustion.

I don’t really understand.  Exhaustion?

For millennia, hasn’t the treatment for this been rest?  Sleep?

That’s not even over the counter medication.  It’s just lock the door, turn out the lights, and hit the rack.  Right?

Yes, exhaustion might be Hollywoodspeak for drug treatment, but who among the Southern California media set hide their drug use and abuse these days?

Could it really be exhaustion?

I have seen Marines sleep on the treads of tanks, standing up, and being bounced all over the inside of an amphibious vehicle or a tactical aircraft.  When you are exhausted you sleep!

Perhaps Ms. Moore’s demise is tied less to the loss of a husband or young boy toy than it is to headlining a society without a Sabbath.

It was a good model from the ancient days.  Work 6 days, and then do no work at all on the next day.

Rest.  There’s something to it!

With all due sympathy for those needing treatment, isn't the remedy for exhaustion rest? How complicated is this post modern world when you need 'treatment' for exhaustion?
