Demi Moore has checked into an addiction center in Utah, according to an exclusive report from E! on February 4, 2012. The actress is taking her treatment to the next level, following the infamous 911 call of January 23 that reported that the actress was having seizure-like symptoms during a party at her home in the Benedict Canyon area of Los Angeles.
Moore had seizure like symptoms after ingesting a substance and 911 was called. The frantic emergency call was released on the internet. An ambulance took Moore to the hospital.
E! cited a source that said that Moore entered the posh Cirque Lodge addiction treatment center in Sundance Utah.
"She's on total lockdown and only talking to a small group of people," the rehab source said, adding that the 49-year-old actress is being treated for both an eating disorder and addiction issues.
Cirque Lodge specializes in "individualized addiction treatment: and caters to celebrity clientele. Celebs who have been treated there reportedly include the likes of Lindsay Lohan,, Ea Mendes and Mary-Kate Olsen
Moore checked into the facility without the media catching wind of it. She gathered her belongings from home and was whisked off to the mountain retreat.
"It became clear to her that her way of coping with her stress was not working and she needed more help," the source continued.
E! had previously reported that Moore had been consulting with an intuitive healer and psychic medium.
