Saturday, police released a 911 call from last week about Demi Moore who had to be taken to the hospital after suffering from convulsions. A friend of Demi Moore called 911 last Monday after the actress experienced a reaction to something she smoked in her Beverly Hills home. The 911 call lasted about 10 minutes and it was edited by the police before its release to the public.
Moore’s friend who is clearly upset said to the 911 operator:
"Send an ambulance right now. This is an emergency."
"She smoked something. It's not marijuana but it's similar to incense. She seems to be having convulsions of some sort. She's semi-conscious ... barely. She's convulsing."
Another friend of Moore’s then spoke to the 911 operator and said: "She's not breathing normally ... she's burning up."
Then…"She's been having some issues with some other stuff lately. I don't know what she's been taking or not."
Moore was taken to Sherman Oaks Hospital and was discharged a short time later.
Shortly before the call to 911, Moore, 49, had been host for a friend’s birthday party when she began to get “pretty hyper” said her friends.
