Demi was nominated for four awards. She won Favorite Female Artist and Favorite Music Fan Following.

Demi checked Twitter and found that some of her fans were tweeting their disapproval because she was not at the awards ceremony. "Damn... Just hopped online to check twitter and some 'fans' are being really mean :(." In another tweet, Demi wrote, "I'm not at the PCA's because as I have stated before, I'm taking as much time off this month as possible."

In response to some of her mean spirited twittering fans, she posted, ""There are 'fans' who say they support me, then they hate on me, my personal life and my loved ones....And then there are my LOVATICS!!! THEY are the BEST fans an artist could ever ask for.... I LOVE YOU!!!"

Demi thought her fans would understand, but instead, some of the fans felt cheated. They voted for Demi to win and they didn't get to see her walk up on stage to receive the award. What should have been a great day of anticipation for Demi , was spent in a twitter war with her fans.

Demi served as a judge for two seasons of "The X Factor. She appeared in "Glee" and she finished an album. She decided to leave "The X Factor to pursue a music career.

Congratulations Demi on your awards.
