Demi Lovato talks new album, teases 'Heart Attack' single

After the success of last year's “Give Your Heart a Break,” pop singer Demi Lovato released a teaser for her upcoming single, “Heart Attack,” on Tuesday. The upbeat pop track will preview Lovato's fourth studio album.

In the “Heart Attack” preview clip, Lovato talks briefly about her upcoming album. She mentions that it will be her most personal effort about “the celebration of life and how rewarding it can be.”

“For a while, I could tell that, when people would talk to me, they knew my story. I think I've opened up more on this album. My life began to evolve, and I started to grow,” she says in the clip. At the end of the teaser, Lovato can be heard singing, “I think I had a heart attack,” from the new single.

“Heart Attack” will be released to radio on Mar. 4. Lovato's 2011 “Unbroken” album yielded the hit singles, “Skyscraper” and “Give Your Heart a Break.” The latter was featured on Examiner.com's top singles of 2012 list.
