It looks like Demi Lovato will be taking the month off before her "Neon Lights" tour begins.

As Lovato tweeted on January 2, 2014, "Taking the month off.... Kind of... What am I gonna do?!!!?????!??"

Her upcoming tour kicks off on February 9, and features opening acts Little Mix, Fifth Harmony, and Cher Lloyd.

Lovato really looking forward to what she describes as a girl power-themed tour. As she told MTV News in a recent interview, she hoped to give the fans an incredible experience. "I want it to be about girl empowerment. I want it to be a huge party."

The "Heart Attack" singer recently announced her decision to leave "X Factor" in order to focus on her singing career. As People Magazine reported, the show's demanding schedule conflicted with her music plans for 2014.

However, other reports also suggested that Lovato was taking some time to focus on her personal wellness, and her continued commitment to sobriety. Sources also hinted that she wanted to spend more time with her family, and her boyfriend, Wilmer Valderrama.

As Hollyscoop reported, "Demi has had a great time on 'X Factor,' but it's time. Everyone is so proud of her, but she really needs to take the time off to focus on her sobriety and her relationship. Wilmer Valderrama is super supportive of her, and she wants to have more time to spend with him, and with her family, and focus on her program because she has to put her sobriety first before anything."

After a busy season on "X Factor," it sounds like Lovato is making a wise decision to take it easy before her upcoming tour.

What do you think Lovato will do during her month off? Will she spend time with her loved ones? Will she spend time connecting with her fans? Or will she decide to rest up before her busy schedule takes off?
