Demi Lovato has now become another former Disney Channel star to have a shaved hairstyle. Britney Spears (formerly of "The Mickey Mouse Club") did it in 2007. Miley Cyrus (formerly of "Hannah Montana") did it in 2013. And now Lovato (formerly of "Sonny With a Chance") has shaved part of her head, according to photos that she posted on her Twitter account on March 4, 2014. Lovato's shaved hairstyle has gotten mixed reactions on the Internet.

Lovato (who is 21) is known for changing her hairstyle and her hair color every three or four months. Her hair color has been brown, black, red, blonde, blue and it is currently pink.

Lovato's "Neon Lights" 2014 North American tour launched Feb. 9 in Vancouver, and so far, the tour has been getting mostly positive reviews. It's been a nice change of pace for Lovato, who got a lot of backlash from "X Factor" viewers in 2013 and whose recent music sales have been flopping. (Lovato's three most recent singles —"Made in the USA," "Let It Go" and "Neon Lights" — have failed to become Top 40 hits in the U.S.)

As previously reported, Lovato teaming up with several "X Factor" alumni for the tour — Fifth Harmony, Little Mix and Cher Lloyd — who will be the opening acts on the tour. Fifth Harmony is on all the tour dates, while Little Mix and Lloyd are doing select dates on the tour, which ends in Indianapolis on March 30, 2014.

Lovato was a judge on "The X Factor" U.S. in 2012 and 2013. She quit the show at the end of what was the show's third and final season because she said that she wanted to focus on her music career. Two months after she quit, Fox announced that "The X Factor" U.S. was cancelled.

Fifth Harmony came in third place on "The X Factor" U.S. in 2012.

Little Mix was the winner of "The X Factor" U.K. in 2011.

Lloyd came in fourth place on "The X Factor" U.K. in 2010.

All of these "X Factor" stars have performed with each other or made public appearances at the same event.

Here is a sampling of Internet reactions to Lovato's shaved hairstyle:

"Think it’s cute. She’s young and should have fun with her hair :)"

"Looks really cool! Pink is my favorite color! Really nice edgy do!"

"oh geez she is too pretty for that. i just don’t get it."

"I love it!"

"Sorry, but I don’t like it."

"I actually kind of like it. It’s fun, and punky."

"I love it but I can’t stand her."

"We aren’t in 1985. Absolutely hideous!"

"She is a stunning girl. I Love this cut!"

"She must be on drugs again! That hairstyle is so ugly only a crackhead would wear it!!"

"She looks cute!"

"Maybe it's just me, but it feels very much like she's just trying too hard. Demi is a pretty girl, the outlandish hair colors and now styles I find distracting, and they take away from her natural beauty. Just my opinion --- and I am a fan of hers --- just not of the ugly hairdos."

"She always looks cute, and maybe it's because I'm no longer 20, but I don't get this fad..."

"She looks adorable!"

"I think she looks adorable. No. Beautiful. Not everyone can pull off this look. ;)"

"She tries too hard."

"I think it's cute and fun...way better than the blue and gold hair when she was on x-factor!"

"That's going to be a b*tch to grow out!"

"Just when you think she is getting her shy together she pulls this stupidity."

"I think it looks ridiculous. Why does she have to keep messing with her hair? Pick a style and stay true to it. Ugh."

"I love Demi Lovato, but I don't get this haircut... On anyone. Mad Max called, he wants you to return to thunderdome."
