Demi Lovato said if she could get any plastic surgery, it would be breast implants, the HuffingtonPost reported.
"I should get a boob job," said Lovato, 21. "They're like mosquito bites. I shouldn't even think about this."
It's unlikely that Lovato is seriously considering plastic surgery, since she has previously said she wants to be a positive body role model for young girls.
Demi, who has suffered from anorexia and bulimia since age eight, once starved herself down to 88 pounds. Lovato began binging and purging after being bullied in school and being called fat by classmates.
They called me a whore and told me I was fat and ugly. I shouldn't have listened, but I took it to heart and it hurt. I thought maybe I didn't have friends because I was too fat."
Demi, who vomited up to six times a day at the height of her bulimia, later turned to cocaine, alcohol and self-cutting to cope with her unhappiness. In 2010, Lovato went to rehab to treat her substance-abuse problems and was diagnosed with bipolar disorder.
Demi said therapy, medication and the support of family and friends have helped her become healthier and happier.
While other young celebrities such as Miley Cyrus have no interest in accepting the burdens of being a role model, Lovato embraces the responsibility.
"[I want to be a] role model," she said. There was nobody out there for me to look at and say maybe this is unhealthy. I had a negative breakdown and it changed my life forever. If I hadn’t gone into treatment, I don't know if I'd be alive today."
