Why is Demi Lovato in rehab? Fans are dying to know the reason behind Lovato's shocking news. According to new online rumors Demi Lovato, who was confirmed to be in rehab for "emotional and physical" issues is receiving treatment for being a cutter.
According to RadarOnline, Demi Lovato possibly entered rehab as a cutter. A "cutter" is someone who cuts or mutilates themselves as a way of releasing their inner pain. While it seems that Demi has been through a lot this year, fans are shocked to hear the rumors that Lovato may be a cutter.
Lovato, 18, has been seen at different events with marks on her wrist and arms. The "Camp Rock" star has allegedly received treatment for not only cutting, but an eating disorder, in the past.
While Demi Lovato is in a rehab facility, it's being reported that drugs and alcohol are not a factor in Demi's treatment. Lovato is strictly being treated for her emotional issues. Earlier this year Demi had a rough break up with Joe Jonas, who quickly moved on to dating 'Twilight' star Ashley Greene.
Late last month Lovato was rumored to be hooking up with teen idol, Justin Bieber. Just after those rumors surfaced Demi deleted her Twitter account without warning and shocked fans by entering rehab.
