Demi Lovato is among the artists scheduled to perform on the "American Idol" Season 13 finale, which takes place at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles on May 21, 2014. Fox (the U.S. network for "American Idol") made the announcement on May 15, 2014.

Other artists performing in the season finale include Lady Antebellum, Aloe Blacc, Kiss, John Legend, Jason Mraz, Jennifer Nettles, Paramore, Phillip Phillips and Darius Rucker.

Rock singers Caleb Johnson and Jena Irene are the final two "American Idol" contestants of 2014. The winner will be announced on May 21, 2014.

As previously reported, Cosmopolitan for Latinas named Lovato its Fun, Fearless Latina of the year. Lovato is on the cover of Cosmopolitan for Latinas's Summer 2014 issue.

Lovato was a presenter at the first annual iHeartRadio Music Awards, which will took place at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on May 1, 2014. NBC had the U.S. telecast of the three-hour show, which was presented by Clear Channel Entertainment.

At the ceremony, Lovato received a nomination for Best Fan Army for her group of devoted fans called Lovatics. The other nominees in the category were Ariana Grande's Arianators, Lady Gaga's Little Monsters, Austin Mahone's Mahomies, Rihanna's Rihanna Navy and Taylor Swift's Swifties. (Rihanna Navy won.)

Although she did not win at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, Lovato did win at the 2014 Radio Disney Music Awards, which were held on April 26 at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles and televised in the U.S. on Disney Channel. Lovato won the awards for Best Female Artist and Favorite Roadtrip Song (for "Made in the USA"). She did not attend the ceremony.

"X Factor" alumni who won at 2014 Radio Disney Music Awards were One Direction and Fifth Harmony. One Direction (which did not attend the show) won the prize for Best Music Group. Fifth Harmony (which performed at the show) won the prizes for Breakout Artist of the Year and Best Song to Rock Out to With Your BFF (for "Me & My Girls").

Lovato was a judge on "The X Factor" U.S. in 2012 and 2013. In December 2013, she quit the show at the end of the show's third season because she said she wanted to focus on her music career. Fox cancelled "The X Factor" U.S. in February 2014.

Lovato's "Neon Lights" North American tour took place in February and March 2014. The opening acts were "X Factor" alumni Fifth Harmony (on all tour dates), Little Mix (on select tour dates) and Cher Lloyd (on select tour dates).

Frankly Chat and Clear Channel co-hosted "iHeartRadio Live With Demi Lovato" at the iHeartRadio Theater in Burbank, Calif., on April 14, 2014.

May 21, 2014 update: On the "American Idol" Season 13 finale, Lovato performed a mash-up of "Really Don't Care" and "Neon Lights." During "Neon Lights," six of the female "American Idol" contestants from this year's Top 12 (including finalist Jena Irene) joined Lovato on stage for the performance. Unfortunately, many of these contestants sang weakly and off-key, essentially ruining the song. Lovato's performance, which used backing tracks, was better but not by much, since it consisted of a lot of shouting instead of singing.
