Demi Lovato is living in a sober living house, a source confirms to People magazine. The ‘Give Your Heart A Break’ singer is so committed to healthy living that she has ditched her lavish L.A. digs for room in a sober house.

The former Disney star has openly shared her struggles with sobriety. Lovato entered rehab in 2010 for anorexia, bulimia and cutting issues. While in treatment the songbird was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. TMZ was first to report that Lovato has lived in the sober living house for a year, even while she served as a judge on "X Factor."

Lovato spoke with the People after leaving treatment "It’s a struggle I’ll probably have to deal with for the rest of my life. But I have so much life to live; I don’t want to waste it'’ A source told the mag "She is very smart" and "She takes the steps she needs to make sure she’s healthy."

The 20-year-old singer took to Twitter over New Year’s where she called recovery a "beautiful thing." There is no word on how long Lovato will reside at the sober house but contrats to the superstar for making such an amazing decision.
