Demi Lovato who became popular playing the role of "Sonny Muntor" on Disney Channel’s “Sonny with a chance”. She proved she is here to stay with her subsequent roles on Disney’s "As the Bell Rings" and starring role in Disney channels original movie “Camp Rock” which also featured the Jonas Brothers. The movie which premiered June 20 in the USA on Disney Channel featured recorded three Lovato songs for the “Camp Rock” movie soundtrack.
In 2008 she opened for the Jonas brothers on their sold out summer tour “ Burnin up”. Her stage presence, musical talents ( playing both piano and guitar) along with her powerful voice impressed critics, and earned her an even larger fan base. Her debut album "Don't Forget" was released on September 23, 2008 in the United States debuting at number two on the Billboard 200 chart selling over 89,000 copies in the first week .
Currently the teen star is back in her starring role as Sonny on Disney’s “Sonny with a Chance”. She has also wrapped up a new movie with co-star Disney star Selena Gomez, called “Princess Protection Program”. Her second album “Here We Go Again” was released on July 21,2009. “Here we go again” album debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 selling over 108,000 copies in the first week.
When asked about the style of the new album Lovato says:
"It’s going to take a different sound, so hopefully it goes over well. I sing a lot of rock, but this time I want to do more John Mayer-ish type of songs. Hopefully I can write with people like him."
Lovato will be performing at the Amway Arena in Orlando Florida this Sunday August 2 . Her concert will also feature a performance by Florida born singing sensation and David Archuleta. America Idol finalist Archuleta has also been nominated for a 2009 “Teen Choice Award’” for the 2009 tour with Lovato.

Yes, I will be attending all 3 Florida shows, Tampa with VIP tickets, Ft. Lauderdale and Orlando. I am broke, but I don't care because I will be in Heaven listening to David Archuleta's voice!! I've met David a couple of times and let me tell you.... its never enough. The more you hear him sing LIVE the more you want!!!
She doesn't play Sonny Muntor, she plays Sonny MONROE!
I went to see David in Seattle... He was fantastic as usual but his set was to brief. Demi was also good but the difference between them is glaring. David is definatly not Disney but, we are grateful for anything to do with him. We are glad that Demi invited him as a SPECIAL GUEST, not the warm up act.!!!
I'll be attending the VIP at the Orlando show, meeting David for the first time! I am so excited! I heard him live on the AI Tour ~ but that seems like so long ago! From what I've seen online, he has grown SO MUCH! David has the voice of an ANGEL! Demi seems like a sweet girl ~ I'll be seeing her for the first time too. Looking forward to the show in just 2 days!
