Demi Lovato, 'Glee's' Naya Rivera win 2011 ALMA Awards (photos)

On Friday night, the 2011 ALMA Awards are set to air on NBC -- however, the ceremony (which honors the best among the Latino community) filmed this past weekend in New York City.

So who ended up being the big winners? Ultimately, we ended up with a bit of a rather interesting situation. Despite not appearing in an episode of "Sonny with a Chance" this year, Demi won the award for TV comedy actress -- meanwhile, "Glee" star Naya Rivera (who has yet to actually release any original music since being on the show) won for Female Music Artist.

The show was hosted by Eva Longoria (whose show in "Desperate Housewives" picked up an award) along with George Lopez (who can say the same thing courtesy of his now-canceled TBS show).
