Pop singer Demi Lovato made her big debut on FOX's "Glee" during Thursday night's episode. She covered The Beatles' "Here Comes the Sun" with fellow cast member Naya Rivera.
"Glee" continued its tribute to The Beatles' catalog with the episode "Tina in the Sky with Diamonds." Lovato's appearance on the series had been teased all the way up to last week's season premiere and she finally made her debut last night. Demi plays Dani, a struggling musician who works at the same New York City diner as Rivera's Santana character. The two hit it off and share a kiss after performing The Beatles' "Here Comes the Sun."
When the diner starts to close down, Lovato picks up a guitar and begins strumming the George Harrison-penned tune "Here Comes the Sun." Still wearing their waitress outfits, Demi and Naya sing the heartwarming track to each other. During the performance, love grows between their characters on "Glee" with the caring glances they share. Harrison's song was the right one for this adorable moment.
Lovato will be a regular on "Glee" this season. She is pulling double duty on FOX as a second time judge on "The X Factor." Former "American Idol" contestant Adam Lambert is also set to join the "Glee" cast next month.
