Demi Lovato celebrates two year anniversary of release from rehab (Video)

Fans rallied around Demi Lovato to celebrate the second anniversary of the young star leaving rehab today. Twitter became flooded with fans starting congratulating Demi on two years of healthy living yesterday and the good wishes continued today. Lovato tweeted her thanks to fans on Jan. 28.

Fans are calling it “Lovatic Day.” Tweets of “Happy Lovatic Day” have flooded Twitter. The hashtag #2YearsUnbroken was a trending topic on Twitter. Fans also spent the day posting collages of Lovato. One fan even credited Justin Timberlake with saving Demi and thanked him profusely.

Lovato went into treatment after a very public emotional breakdown at the end of 2010. Demi entered rehab and was treated for an eating disorder and unhealthy habits, which included cutting herself.

Lovato has been very open about her journey to better health, as well as her diagnosis of bipolar disorder. It is obvious that Demi’s fans see her as a strong role model and that she is working hard not to let them down.

So how did Demi Lovato spend “Lovatic Day?” Demi spent the day on crutches with a broken leg. Lovato joked that it’s a bad idea to let you roommate clean your hardwood floors with Pledge.
