Today, Demi Lovato tweeted that she is away on a mind and body cleansing retreat, and that she won't be tweeting much this week.
As she tweeted, "Away on a mind and body cleansing retreat!! This is exciting.. Won't be tweeting much this week but I love you my sweet lovatics!"
It will be interesting to see what the rumor mills come with in response to this announcement. She recently had to fend off rumors that she was headed back to rehab and that she was having personal drama with Wilmer Valderrama.
Two weeks ago, in defense of her critics, she tweeted, "Don't believe the hype.... All is well! SO stoked to head to Chile in a few days!!! Love all my Lovatics... MUAH! xo"
We know she's been under a bit of stress lately.
A few weeks ago, she tweeted, "Sometimes it seems like God just keeps throwing crap my way and I get SO angry with him... But there's never a doubt in my mind He's gonna pull me through it all. I know you're there God. But umm... Really dude? I'm not very religious but I'm VERY spiritual and I DO believe in God. I'm not perfect or preaching! Just tweeting... :) Just keep swimming...."
Yet we think Demi will be just fine. Her career is stronger than ever, and she has a world full of fans who love and support her through good times and bad.
We hope she is enjoying her retreat and that she is getting some much-needed rest!
