Demi Lovato and Sharon Osbourne are among the stars who are participating in the "The Price Is Right" Celebrity Week that will be televised from February 18 to February 22, 2013. CBS made the announcement on February 5, 2013. The celebrities participating in the game show will be playing for their selected charities.
"The Price Is Right," the longest-running game show in television history, is hosted by Drew Carey. Produced by FremantleMedia North America, "The Price Is Right" is broadcast weekdays in the U.S. on CBS from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Eastern Time/10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Pacific Time.
Lovato became an "X Factor" U.S. judge in 2012. Her "Price Is Right" episode airs on February 22, 2013. She is playing for the charity Free the Children.
Osbourne was a judge on "The X Factor" U.K. from 2004 to 2007. Her "Price Is Right" episode airs on February 20, 2013. She is playing for the charity the Sharon Osbourne Colon Cancer Program. The complete judging panels "The X Factor" U.S. and "The X Factor" U.K. in 2013 have not been announced yet.
On "The X Factor" U.S., executive producer Simon Cowell is the only judge guaranteed so far in 2013. Britney Spears and Antonio "L.A." Reid have announced their departures from "The X Factor" U.S., and their replacements have not yet been named. It has not been announced if Lovato will continue to be a judge on the show in 2013.
In August 2012, Osbourne tweeted that she wanted to go back to being a judge on "The X Factor" U.K. in 2013. British tabloids have been reporting for months that Osbourne has been in talks to replace Tulisa Contostavlos on the show. Contostavlos, Louis Walsh, Gary Barlow and Nicole Scherzinger were judges on "The X Factor" U.K. in 2012. The show has not been confirmed or announced which of these judges are staying and which are leaving.
The 2013 judging panels for both shows should be officially announced by May.
