In September 2013, Fifth Harmony did a North American tour as the opening act for Cher Lloyd. Lloyd came in fourth place on "The X Factor' U.K. in 2010.

As previously reported, Fifth Harmony is the opening act for Lovato's 2014 North American tour, which will feature Lloyd and girl group Little Mix (winner of "The X Factor" U.K. in 2011) as the opening acts on select concert dates. Fifth Harmony is the opening act on all of the tour dates.

As previously reported, Fifth Harmony and Lloyd also performed at the 87th Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, which took place in New York City on Nov. 28, 2013.

Lovato has teamed up with Fifth Harmony for other projects, including a performance of her hit "Give Your Heart a Break" on "The X Factor" U.S. Season 2 finale in December 2012. Lovato and Fifth Harmony also made appearances together at Topshop in Los Angeles (in February 2013) and New York City (in May 2013). Lovato and Fifth Harmony were among "The X Factor" stars at Fox's Fanfront event in May 2013.

Lovato, Fifth Harmony, Little Mix and Lloyd were also at the 2013 Teen Choice Awards. Lovato was a performer and winner at the show, while Fifth Harmony and Little Mix were presenters. Lloyd was there just as an attendee.

Fifth Harmony and Little Mix were each formed on "The X Factor" when the show put together contestants who originally auditioned as solo singers.

Fifth Harmony is signed to Syco Music/Epic Records, Lloyd is signed to Epic Records, while Little Mix is signed to Syco Music/Columbia Records. Lovato is signed to Hollywood Records.

Fifth Harmony's first EP, "Better Together," was released on Oct. 22, 2013, and debuted at No. 6 on the Billboard 200 chart. The EP's singles have not fared as well on the charts: First single "Miss Movin' On" peaked at No. 76 on the Billboard Hot 100, while second single "Me & My Girls" failed to make it onto the Billboard Hot 100 chart. "Better Together" has also been released in four other versions: acoustic, Spanish-language, Spanish-language acoustic and remixes.

Lovato's fourth album, "Demi," was released in May 2013 and debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart. Although the album's first single, "Heart Attack," was a big hit (Top 10 in several countries and more than 2 million copies sold in the U.S.), the album's other singles have not fared as well on the charts. On Billboard's Hot 100 chart, "Made in the USA" peaked at No. 80, while "Neon Lights" failed to make it on the chart.
