With the same fervor that fans are exuding by hitting their local newsstands to grab the latest issue of SHEEN magazine that flaunts the flawless face of screen and stage star Demetria McKinney on the cover, they can also view online the brand new video for her current hit, Work With Me.

Shot in Atlanta, Georgia and directed by Phil the God, the video tells a visual tale of a starlet that seemingly has it all, but needs a bit of mercy when it comes to matters of the heart.

The ballad focuses on insecurities associated with being open and attentive in a relationship, and the video shows a range of relatable personalities. From being a screen star, swanked by her glam squad and handlers, to candid moments of shedding tears in from being in a hazy headspace, McKinney offers one of her best performances to date, showing her enthusiasm for her forthcoming musical release.

“Work with Me is personal and honest, very honest. I found myself really evaluating relationships that I’ve known as I sang the lyrics and was even more vulnerable as we created this visual. I love that so many women, and even some men, approach me and say how much they see themselves in the song and how close to home it hits. On top of that, it has a good groove. I’m really proud of the song and the video,” she states.

Demetria is best known for her role as “Janine Payne” on the TBS sitcom “Tyler Perry’s House of Payne.” She is also currently a cast member on TV One’s The Rickey Smiley Show.

Officially Yours will be released in Spring 2014 under RTD Entertainment.
