Golden Tate and DeMarcus Ware are changing addresses. According to a Detroit Lions.com report on March 12, WR Golden Tate has jumped ship from the World Champion Seattle Seahawks and signed a 5 year deal to play along side Calvin Johnson in Motown.
This is a good pick up for the Leo's.
Since Tate entered the NFL he has improved his reception and yardage totals every season.Over the last two seasons in Seattle, Tate caught 109 passes for 1,586 yards and 12 touchdowns. This should make the Lions offense a lot stronger in 2014.
In other NFL signing news, the Denver Broncos continue to dominate free agency.
According to a CBS Sportsline report Denver has signed DeMarcus Ware. The former Cowboy will now be in the Mile High City for the next three seasons according to reports. Ware will reportedly make $30 million over the three year period with $20 million of it guaranteed.
Ware will join Aqib Talib and TJ Ward as the newest Broncos on defense in 2014. Denver is clearly not giving up on trying to get a Super Bowl trophy with Peyton Manning as QB. So far they have made the biggest splash in free agent signings.
