Demon's Souls is one of the best games on the Playstation 3 in 2009. It seems like the critical acclaim has turned into good word of mouth as the exclusive title is selling quite well according to its North American publisher, Atlus. Here is the statement they made on their official twitter page:

Demon's Souls was released in North America on October 7th, which is a pretty crowded time for new releases due to the upcoming holiday season. It’s good to see the game sell well so far despite the stiff competition.
