The St. Louis Zoo is a fascinating place to visit year round. Beginning January 29th, The St. Louis Zoo will kick off the Delta Dental Winter Zoo. There will be fun activities for kids each Sunday through February 19th, when the Delta Dental Winter Zoo throws a Mardi Gras party.
During the Delta Dental Winter Zoo, children will have the opportunity to watch a live theater show that emphasizes the importance of good health, while engaging kids with funny characters and storylines. Radio Disney and a penguin march will also be part of the festivities.
On Sunday, February 19th, the Delta Dental Winter Zoo will have some extra activities for kids. The Tooth Wizard and P.A.N.D.A. from the Delta Dental Health Theatre Land of Smiles show will lead a parade through the zoo. Kids will have the opportunity to make colorful masks to wear in the parade. Parents and kids may also decorate strollers or wagons to compete in a parade float contest.
The St. Louis zoo is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Admission to the zoo, as well as the Delta Dental Winter Zoo and Mardi Gras activities is free.
