Delta announces air service into Aspen, CO

This winter skiers and riders will be able to fly Delta Air Lines into and out of Aspen/Snowmass, CO. Delta will offer daily flights from Atlanta and Saturday-only flights from Minneaplis-St. Paul. The flights will begin Dec. 21, 2013.

United has been a long time carrier for the area. Frontier Airlines also was a carrier until it pulled out of the market a few years ago. The most recent carrier to enter the Aspen/Snowmass market was American Airlines back in December of 2011.

This is good news for skiers and riders. The more competition there is, the lower the prices. Tickets are now on sale at Delta's website.
