Also take time to sign the "Arts Garage Petition" so that Arts Garage can remain where it is. On Tuesday, 2/12/13, 6:00 p.m. The Delray Beach City Commission postponed a critical vote on the future of Arts Garage until April 16, 2013. Below is the initial plea to Arts Garage patrons and supporters. Please stay informed by visiting www.artsgarage.org. Engaged, share and attend the April 16, 2013 Delray Beach City Commission meeting. Delray Beach City Hall is located at 100 NW 1st Avenue, Delray Beach, FL 33444. The map in this article is for Arts Garage location and events.

On April 16, 2013, the Delray Beach City Commission will be deciding between two offers to purchase the space Arts Garage currently occupy. One offer proposes to use this location as office space and another will guarantee Arts Garage stay for the next ten years with an option to buy. Please ask the Delray Beach Commissioners to choose the offer that will make Arts Garage current location their permanent home.

Artists, audiences and the downtown area as a whole would be deeply negatively impacted if the key corner that serves as a gateway to Pineapple Grove goes dark on weekends and evenings. The whole community benefits as Arts Garage continues to serve both as an economic engine and a bridge of expansion to downtown Delray as you can see from the list of entertainment listed below for March..

If you are among the many who believe that Arts Garage has become an invaluable cultural and educational destination in the Florida community, voice your support and help keep Arts Garage where it has grown and blossomed. Join Arts Garage and Florida's fun in the sun arts destination by continuing onward with Arts Garage mission to build and promote the cultural community that celebrates Delray Beach and South Florida! March on Delray Beach City Hall in person to support Arts Garage cause April 16, 2013. The show must go on!

Arts Garage has become synonymous with incredible entertainment,” said Alyona Ushe, Executive Director. “And this month we really bring it!” “Musical diversity abounds as the month kicks off with Drag Bingo… you just have to experience it,” said Ushe. Another key highlight of the month is Arts Garage’s very own Drew Tucker. The master of percussion sold out the house last time and wowed audiences with his diverse style and range of rhythms. His performance is followed by the classical jazz and folk infused sounds of Errol Racckipov, and the Latin jazz sounds of the sultry Brazilian born Rose Max.

Next, Arts Garage rocks out with the bluesy Lauren Mitchell Band and gets funky with the Betty Fox Band. “We end the month with man critics call the new Louie Armstrong---Bruce Stripling,” said Ushe. “He is in demand by orchestras all over the country, and we are honored to have him at Arts Garage. And... This month, Tyrrell introduces audiences a new play by Duncan MacMillan, called "Lungs".
