The Best of the Road contest, sponsored by USA Today and Rand McNally “Road Team” will be visiting Delray Beach to determine if Delray Beach will be the winner of the Most Fun Small Town Award. The competing cities are: Corning, New York, Geneva-on-the-Lake, Ohio, Santa Claus, Ind., Denton, Texas, and Buena Park, CA. The contest consisted of five categories: Friendliest, Most Patriotic, Most Beautiful, Most Fun or Best for Food Town. The “Road Team” will have an opportunity to experience Delray Beach and conclude that Delray Beach should definitely be the winner of the“Most Fun Small Town”. The Road Team will arrive in Delray sometime between mid-June and mid-July.
Highlighting the Most Fun Small Town activities will be an effort on the behalf of all the citizens and businesses of Delray Beach.
