Dell, Windows 7 and Hoover schools - what is right with our schools, also H1N1 vaccine update

As seen in the linked video, Hoover schools has partnered with Dell and is now utilizing Windows 7 with Latitude tablets in the classroom to create a more technologically robust learning environment for Hoover's kids. 

This platform enables whiteboard technologies, equips kids for the future, and gives interactive a new definition in education.  It ties in with Obama's new Educate to Innovate program recently announced here

Hoover schools also sent out a letter last week letting parents know that Hoover schools will be offering free H1N1 vaccination clinics to students age ten and over.

Shades Mountain Christian School announced that there will be a private school vaccination clinic at the Jefferson County Department of Health on Tuesday December 29th from 8:00-1:00 pm.

A general clinic will be help at the same location Thursday, December 17th, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. 

The Department of Health building is located at Guy M. Tate Building, 1400 Sixth Avenue South. Spanish Interpreters will be available.
