Delight in the Great Lakes Home and Flower Show at Kalahari Resort

Still haven't gotten your fill of home and flower shows? Then here's an idea for a fun day trip where you can see lots of beautiful and colorful Spring flowers in bloom in an unique setting. Plan a journey to the free Great Lakes Home & Flower Show being held at the Kalahari Resort and Waterpark Convention Center in Sandusky, Ohio. Sandusky is approximately a one hour drive from Cleveland.

Great Lakes Home & Flower Show Running Friday, March 1, Saturday, March 2 and Sunday, March 3, the Great Lakes Home & Flower Show is being held at the brand new state of the art Kilimanjaro Convention Center (which is totally carpeted and features exquisite chandeliers) on Kalahari Resort property.

The largest Home Show in Northwest Ohio, the Great Lakes Home & Flower Show will feature numerous large landscaped displays and gardens, Arts & Crafts, more than 150 booths and cooking demonstrations provided by Kalahari chefs (with free tastings and recipes given out to visitors).

A highlight event at the Home & Flower Show will be appearances by Dave Dangerfield who will be doing free antique and collectibles appraisals. Dangerield will be appearing on Saturday and Sunday from noon - 2 p.m.

Visitors will also be able to tour the Kalahari Resort and Waterpark for free while attending the show.

Hours for the Great Lakes Home & Flower Show are 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is free. Free tickets can be picked up at any Home Depot or at any Kroger's.
