Delight in a special living history Valentine's celebration in Canton

Presidential history enthusiasts will want to partake in an unique Valentine's season celebration being offered by the National First Ladies' Library and Bender's Restaurant in Canton, Ohio on Saturday, February 15.

"Love is Eternal" A Special "Be My Valentine" Package for Two This afternoon living history Valentine's event will include a live presentation of readings of letters of selected U.S. Presidents and First Ladies at the National First Ladies' Library followed by a sumptuous holiday dinner at Bender's Restaurant (around the corner from the Library).

Diners will have their choice of Scrod ala Foley, a 10 ounce Texas sirloin steak, Chicken Marsala or Pasta Primavera. All dinners include a mixed green salad, choice of a baked potato or Bender's fries, a bottle of chardonnay/ merlot/ cabernet sauvignon/ Riesling wine, a mini chocolate peanut butter sundae and coffee. The price also includes tax and gratuity.

Price of the "Love is Eternal" package is $88 per couple and includes the historical program and dinner. Cost for the historical program only is $10 per person. Reservations are required. Call 330-452-0876, Ext. 307 to make reservations. Reservations must be made by February 11.

The Living History program begins at 3:30 p.m. and is followed by dinner at 5 p.m.
